The food is terrific, and the bed is among the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. No-frills lodge in an amazingly remote location. The view and scenery are fantastic. The rooms are basic, but that's all you should need in this setting. Go outside! I came here in 2011 and 2014 with family and friends. Amazing experience. My favorite things were the food, the people, and the unique setting! Please, if reviews will ever make a difference, let it be this one. I will NEVER forget this place. It was my first time in Alaska and I spent it in Cordova. For about a week, this place was home. Nothing too fancy, just a pleasant little inn with great food. No matter who you are or what you do, serene locations like this have a way of slowing you down enough to take in the big picture. Granted, I went in the summer and that is the only way I could survive Cordova (being from the Southeastern United States) but when I was here, I didn't want to leave. And that isn't something that happens to me often. When I spent time at this lodge, things were simple. The world was a beautiful place. I will always be grateful for that. Always. Great food and nice big rooms and fun adventures
